Changes ~ Haunted Attraction Rankings
After several years of using Secret Shoppers to rate area Haunted Attractions, we’ll be implementing changes for the 2019 Halloween Season.
Haunted Attractions and Haunt Enthusiasts please note the following changes:
We will not be awarding a “Beast of Cuse” winner or statuette. The #1 attraction (in any category) will be awarded the title, and an official badge for their website and social media.
We will be implementing a Top 3 Ranking for Attractions visited by Scarycuse Staff and/or Secret Shoppers. Scarycuse Staff will have to prioritize visiting attractions which have provided us with tickets. To ensure your attraction is in consideration, please send 3-4 all-access and/or fast-pass tickets to: Scarycuse.com, PO Box 120, Brewerton, NY 13029.
Winners Ranked #1 in a category will receive Free Advertising on the Scarycuse website for the following year (ad pkg to be determined).
While we appreciate the dozens of annual surveys completed by diligent secret shoppers, moving forward, Scarycuse Staff opinions will absolutely supersede any Secret Shopper votes.
Additionally, we’re considering writing reviews this year. If that happens, they’ll be both thoughtful, and honest.
